Preserve Wealth.
Expand Opportunity.
For successful Singaporean families and entrepreneurs, strategic citizenship can provide greater international diversification and future flexibility.
Why successful Singaporeans explore strategic citizenship.
The families and principals we serve are not planning to leave Singapore. They are planning to extend their reach — quietly securing sovereign optionality across jurisdictions for the next generation.
The world's most successful families diversify assets, opportunities and jurisdictions.
International Investments
Singaporean investors with cross-border portfolios benefit from additional jurisdictional choice for asset holding, corporate structures and capital deployment.
Global Families
Children educated abroad, businesses operated across borders, spouses of differing nationality — successful families are international, and their documentation should match their reach.
Diversification
The world's most successful families diversify assets, opportunities and jurisdictions. A second citizenship is a strategic asset, not a travel document.
Wealth Preservation
Vanuatu's tax-neutral framework for non-resident citizens supports long-term wealth preservation strategies independent of any single national tax regime.
Future Opportunities
Commonwealth membership, Pacific positioning and bilateral access open conversations and corridors that may not be available through a single passport.
International Business
For entrepreneurs with regional or global operations, a Commonwealth citizenship provides additional flexibility for banking, corporate structuring and cross-border transactions.

"Optionality, secured in advance of need, is the quietest form of wealth."
The benefits of Vanuatu citizenship.
A Commonwealth nation. A legislated programme. A discreet jurisdiction.
Wealth Preservation
A sovereign Commonwealth jurisdiction with no personal income, capital gains, inheritance or wealth tax for non-resident citizens — supporting long-term wealth structuring strategies.
Family Optionality
Spouse, dependent children and qualifying parents may be included in a single application, securing future pathways for the entire family unit.
Global Mobility
Visa-free or visa-on-arrival access to 107+ destinations across the Commonwealth, Asia and the Pacific — complementing Singapore's already strong travel document.
International Diversification
Holding citizenship in a tax-neutral, politically stable Commonwealth nation reduces concentration risk in a single jurisdiction and opens additional banking and investment corridors.
Long-Term Planning
Multi-generational families increasingly consider where heirs may live, study and operate. Optionality, secured today, is the most valuable inheritance.
Sovereign Diversification
A sovereign identity outside Singapore's framework — useful for international business structures, banking relationships and family contingency planning.
No Residency Requirement
No obligation to live in Vanuatu at any stage. Families continue their lives in Singapore uninterrupted while holding a second nationality.
Discreet Processing
One of the most efficient legislated frameworks globally, typically completed within 45 to 60 days of a complete file, with strict confidentiality maintained throughout.
Clients should always seek independent legal advice regarding their personal circumstances, particularly concerning Singapore's single-citizenship constitutional provisions before proceeding with any foreign citizenship application.

Diversify more than your portfolio.
The world's most successful families diversify assets, opportunities and jurisdictions.
A second citizenship is not about leaving Singapore.
It is about creating additional pathways — for wealth, for family, for future generations.
A passport is paperwork. A second nation is a posture.

Frequently asked by Singaporean principals.
- 01Can Singaporeans obtain Vanuatu citizenship?
- Singapore citizens face specific constitutional considerations. Article 134 of the Singapore Constitution provides that an adult Singapore citizen who voluntarily acquires the citizenship of another country may be deprived of Singapore citizenship. We strongly recommend qualified Singapore counsel before proceeding, and we are happy to provide referrals.
- 02What about Permanent Residents or foreign-national spouses?
- Singapore PRs who are not Singapore citizens, and foreign-national spouses of Singaporeans, do not face the same constitutional restriction and frequently pursue Vanuatu citizenship as a family hedge. These family members may be included in a single application with the principal applicant.
- 03Can my family be included in one application?
- Yes. A single application may include the principal applicant, their spouse, dependent children and qualifying dependent parents. Family inclusion is one of the programme's distinguishing features.
- 04Do I need to live in Vanuatu?
- No. There is no residency requirement before, during or after the application. Most clients continue to live, work and conduct business in Singapore without interruption.
- 05How long does the process take?
- Once a file is complete and submitted, processing typically takes 45 to 60 days. File preparation — due diligence collation, source-of-funds documentation and certified translations — usually requires a further 4 to 8 weeks beforehand.
- 06Can the process be completed from Singapore?
- Yes. The full process — engagement, document assembly, due diligence and oath — can be completed remotely from Singapore. Physical presence in Vanuatu is not required.
- 07What about children's citizenship?
- Singapore-citizen minors who acquire a second citizenship by descent or registration must typically elect a single nationality at age 21. Vanuatu citizenship within a family plan is often structured with this timing in mind. We work with Singapore counsel to ensure any structure is lawful and transparent.
- 08What are the benefits of sovereign diversification?
- Sovereign diversification reduces concentration risk in a single jurisdiction. It provides additional banking, residency and travel options, supports cross-border family and business planning, and creates procedural flexibility for circumstances not yet foreseen.
